Canadian Winter Deep Stack Poker Tournaments Come to the Golden Nugget Las Vegas

All In Productions Worldwide Classic Poker Tour presents the Canadian Winter Deep Stack in Las Vegas at the Golden Nugget. The series begins on February 1st and includes three event options for poker players wishing to participate in the events.

The first poker tournament is a $750 buy-in, No Limit Texas Hold Em two day event. Players begin with 20,000 in starting chips and may re-enter through the first break. The second event is on February 2nd and is a $550 buy-in, No Limit Texas Hold Em poker tournament where players begin with 16,000 in starting chips and may also re-enter up until the end of first break. Both events have 30 minute blind levels through level six and then 45 minute blind levels from level seven onward.

The main event will be a two day event beginning February 3rd for a $1550 buy-in. This event starts each player with 30,000 starting chips, has hour-long blind levels and allows re-entry through the end of the first break. The main event buy-in also includes a meal for players.

The Canadian Winter Deep Stack offered satellites to this Las Vegas event to Canadian players at casinos in Calgary and Edmonton beginning back in November and extending through mid-January. This five day series is estimated to have a prize pool of $500,000.

The Golden Nugget is located in the downtown Fremont Street Experience area, also known as "Old Las Vegas." The Golden Nugget has a newly renovated 10 table poker room, as well as a special events center called The Grand. The large hall is used for several large poker series that are hosted by the casino throughout each year, the main one being the Grand Poker Series, which runs in the summer (simultaneous to the World Series of Poker).
